What's Up? ... Thanks for stoppin by this section of our site. Here you'll find some freaky information regarding the members of Turkey Neck.

Turkey Neck's creativity is the result of two different bands (Tyranny and Salem) who toured the Orange County area from 1991 until their breakups in mid 1996.

Tyranny's members were: Justin Mize(guitar), Sedge(bass), Jimmy Schultz(drums), and Mike Timko(guitar). They played locally at Jezebel's, The Marquee, Bananaz, Club 369 and other clubs throughout Southern California.

Salem's members were; Tommy Herr(guitar), Mark Bishop(bass), Rich Harris(vocals), and Alex Tortes Jr.(drums). They too played locally at the same clubs in the Greater Orange County area. They pulled off shows together in order to please the large crowds.

Both bands were great friends and as stated above, loved to play together. After both bands had broken up, three members of Tyranny and two members of Salem got together to jam. After a few sessions, they realized that they could really have something special.
